Privacy

No accounts and no tracking cookies. We collect only what is needed to answer product lookups, run requested price trackers, protect the service and understand whether it is working.

What we collect

Looking up a product does not require anything from you. If you paste an Amazon link, we store the product and its price history so we can answer the same question for the next visitor too.

If you set a tracker, we store your email address and the one thing you asked to be tracked for. That is the entire account: an email address and a cancel link. There is no password, no profile, no login.

We also keep limited security and operational records, such as rate-limit counters, delivery state and error logs. IP addresses used for abuse prevention are stored as keyed hashes rather than in plain text.

Why we use it

• Product and price information is processed for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service.
• Your email address and tracker instructions are processed to provide the alert you explicitly requested and to take steps at your request.
• Security, rate limiting and fault records are processed for our legitimate interests in keeping the service reliable and preventing abuse.
• We may retain information where necessary to meet a legal obligation.

Tracker confirmations and alerts are transactional messages you asked us to send. We do not add you to a general marketing list.

What we do not do

• No tracking cookies and no ad pixels.
• No selling your email address and no sharing it for advertising or general marketing. It is disclosed only to service processors needed to run and deliver the tracker you requested.
• No behavioural profiling. We do not build a picture of you across sites.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics when it is switched on, which is cookieless: it does not use any client-side state or cross-site identifiers, and it cannot track you across other sites. It is currently switched off, so no analytics request is made. Product pages may load the product image from Amazon.

Who processes information

Cloudflare hosts the website and database. Our transactional email provider processes the address and message needed to deliver an alert. Amazon receives the ordinary request information your browser sends when you follow an Amazon link. We do not sell your personal information.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer safeguards provided by the supplier and required by UK data-protection law.

How long we keep it

• Delivered or abandoned email content and recipient data is removed after 30 days.
• Pending, leased or quarantined email is retained while it still needs delivery or operator action.
• If you have no active or paused trackers, your subscriber record and terminal trackers are removed 90 days after the last tracker ends.
• Using “cancel everything and delete my email” removes the subscriber record and its trackers immediately.
• Product prices and non-identifying aggregate operational records may be retained because they are not tied to your email address.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Every Amazon link on this site carries our affiliate tag. Clicking it does not cost you anything extra.

Deleting your data

Every tracker confirmation and alert email contains a manage link. On that page there is one button: cancel everything and delete my email address. It deletes the email and every tracker tied to it, immediately, with no further steps.

Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or a copy of your personal information, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. The manage link in each email remains the fastest way to cancel trackers or delete your address.

Contact

Until the final-domain contact address is published, questions and privacy requests can be made by replying to a tracker email. The final controller identity and public contact address are a release requirement and will be added here before public launch.
